Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone the age of 8 and above can come and throw with us. For age range 8-16, there will need to be a responsible adult present and able to sign waivers. 

Our Axe throwing sessions are a generous 50 minutes! 

The only thing you need to do before attending is to sign the waiver form which you can do from the website or from the email link we will send you and we also ask that you familiarise yourself with the safety briefing on our website but we'll go over this with you once you're there :)

Other than that, just make sure you wear closed sensible footwear (no sandals, flip flops, crocs or high heels as much as you ladies love to look fabulous) and then turn up and you're ready to go!

The simple answer to this question is no. With axe throwing there are always risks but at Axe throw we hold high standards to keep that risk at the very minimum. You'll be told how to make your experience safe and enjoyable at the beginning of your session.  Please see the safety briefing on the site if you wish to know more now. 

Don't worry, not everyone gets it first try. Even the pros didn't get it straight away. There are simple adjustments we can help you make that will up your chances of sticking the target and feeling that satisfaction. Someone will be supervising your session and will step in if wanted and always feel free to ask for tips and pointers!
