At Axe Throw Leamington Spa, our mission is to inspire a love of an old traditional activity and a sense of adventure in people of ages 8 and above. Axe throwing is great for physical and mental wellbeing, and we strive to get people together doing something they love. Old friends and new!
Another mission of mine is to help men and fathers who struggle with mental health and loneliness as both hold a space in my own personal life and I'd love to be able to provide lifelines for people in these situations. Keep an eye out for our social sessions, men's groups and dad's groups.

Axe throwing is exactly what it sounds like — you grab an axe, take aim, and hurl it at a wooden target in hopes of landing that satisfying bullseye thunk. It’s a mix of skill, focus, and a little bit of primal fun.
What started as a backyard hobby in Canada has grown into a worldwide sport, complete with leagues, competitions, and trick shots that would make a Viking proud. You don’t need to be strong to do it either — it’s all about technique (and a touch of attitude).
Fun fact: the average axe thrower hits the target about 40% of the time on their first go… but after a session or two, you’ll get the swing of it

Our axes are designed to stick in the target as easily as possible. This means they are very sharp. We want you to have fun at Axe Throw but we also want (and need) you to be super safe. Our team will give clear instructions on how to store, hold, pick up and throw the axes. We will also give clear instruction when to retrieve your axes and when not to. Failure to be safe while attending Axe Throw will result in you being asked to leave.
